In collaboration with the Porter County Juvenile Justice System, Family & Youth Services Bureau provides services to the Juvenile Detention Center and Probation Department.

FYSB staff evaluates adolescents and provides recommendations in the areas of educational, mental health, and family intervention needs.  We also provide psycho-social reports about detained youths to court and if needed, connect youths with area treatment providers.

Our staff facilitates one group each week with detained youths

to process feelings and improve social skills.  These programs are designed to improve outcomes of juvenile offenders.
